The Best Venue in Derby

It's a bold statement. I know! I don't think there is such a thing as the 'best venue' BUT The West Mill in Darley Abbey is absolutely phenomenal. Built in the 18th century its original purpose was spinning cotton. The modern restoration has preserved the architecture and historical significance of the building which means your wedding will be literally one of a kind. There is no other venue like it! Set over 4 floors with a lift for speedy access. The ceremony room is gorgeous, the wedding breakfast room is gorgeous and the outside courtyard is a photographers dream. One of the best things about The West Mill is that there are no corkage charges so you can bring your own alcohol, which helps with your wedding budget!

I have shot weddings at The West Mill in the height of summer, the depths of winter and during a flood! Every time, I have come away with beautiful photos.
